A New Year has Began

We made it! Another year has passed and New Year has began. Have you ever counted your blessings for the past year? "Count your blessings, name them one by one, and see what God has done" 2008 may not be a perfect year for you and I, but God has given us another day and another year to live. Isn't that a wonderful blessing?

My husband and I went to Church last night, and before the service started our Pastor asked us, what are we thankful for. Some people said, they're thankful for their family, some for their job, some for their health and so on . I am thankful for my family, for my health, and most of all I am thankful for my Saviour Jesus Christ! I don't know what 2009 brings for me but one thing I know, God holds my future! A s we welcome 2009, let me share my favorite Bible verse to all of you.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" ( Jeremiah 29:11 )
